Directions

Talybont is on the A487 Aberystwyth to Machynlleth road. At the village green, turn left if coming from Machynlleth, right if coming from Aberystwyth, follow the road up the right hand side of the Black Lion, continue past a new housing estate on your left. The road then goes sharp right in front of a pair of Victorian semi-detached houses (these look like one house). Do NOT take this road, but instead, follow the lane which goes straight on up the left hand side of these houses between the houses and the post box (it's not easy to see the postbox in summer!). Don't be put off by how small the lane is, it does go somewhere!! Llysmeirion is the 4th house on the left where there is ample parking.
